When are direct purchase commissions paid out and how / why aren’t they paid immediately?

Travelers who purchase protection with their credit card on the RentalGuardian microsite are paying through the RentalGuardian payment processor. The commission on the direct purchase is paid the month the traveler trip ends. Commission payments are made by check at the end of each month.

The payments are not made until the end of the stay to ensure the full and appropriate commission is paid.
